All Princeton Junction Townhomes and Condos

West Windsor, also known as Princeton Junction, is home to one of the most sought-after school districts in New Jersey and is conveniently located on the NJ Transit rail line with express access to New York City. It’s upscale neighborhoods feature single family homes ranging from smaller, post-war cape cods up to new luxury homes in excess of 7,000 square feet on several acres of land.

There are five townhouse/condo developments in West Windsor, each with it’s own style and personality. I’ll give a brief description of each below. The first condo/townhouse community built in West Windsor was Canal Pointe/Colonnade Pointe. Located off Rt. 1 behind the Princeton Market Fair mall, Canal Pointe, and it’s sister community, Colonnade Pointe is just 1.5 miles to the Princeton Junction train station — you can even take a bus to the train and leave your car at home! Built in the late 80’s to early 90’s Canal Pointe offers a mix of condominiums, townhouses, and patio homes. Prices range from the low $200’s for the condos to mid-$500’s for the patio homes. The townhouses are very popular and offer three distinct models ranging in price from the mid $300’s to the low $400’s. Princeton Greens is right next to Canal Pointe so it is also very convenient to the train station and within walking distance to Princeton University and the D&R Canal State Park. Built in the late 80’s and early 90’s Princeton Greens consists of 2 and 3 bedroom townhouses with two car garages priced from the high $300’s to the high $400’s as well as some 3-4 bedroom single family homes in the $600,000 to $700,000 price range.

Windsor Haven, built in the early to mid 90’s is the closest townhouse development to the Princeton Junction Train Station. Within walking distance to the rail station, Windsor Haven consists of 142 townhouses.  The  townhouses all have one car garages, and three levels of living space  with 2 to 4 bedrooms. The unique and spacious designs of these townhouses and the convenient location make this a very desirable community. Prices range from the high $200’s to the low-mid $400’s.

Windsor Ponds is one of the newer townhouse communities in Princeton Junction. Located just 4.5 miles to the train and near the Mercer Oaks County Golf Course, Windsor Ponds has 331 townhouses built around 2001 and 2002. Most of the townhouses here have either 2 or 3 bedrooms and some have a fourth bedroom and a basement. With a pool, playground, clubhouse and walking trails, Windsor Ponds is a desirable community in a beautiful setting. Prices here currently range from the mid $300’s to the mid $500’s

The newest Townhouse community in West Windsor is The Estates At Princeton Junction. This community consists of 130 luxury townhouses as well as 400 single family homes. These homes were built between 2005 and 2008 and the community features a pool, clubhouse with fitness center, bike paths, playgrounds and parkland. The 130 townhouses here all have three bedrooms, basements either a 1 or 2 car garage. The prices are a little higher, from the low $500’s to the low $600’s, and there are usually not too many for sale at any given time. However, this community is very popular with homebuyers in Princeton Junction and the homes offered for sale here are usually snapped up quickly!
